This 1971 Porsche 911S has been owned by the current Northern California owner since 2013 and has a documented history of Southern California ownership prior to that time.   Under the current ownership, the car had a comprehensive cosmetic restoration between June, 2013 – March, 2014 performed by Exotic Autobody with replacement of a large number of new parts with receipts from Porsche along with a receipt in the amount of $34K for a complete trim removed respray and necessary body work.

The 911S is finished in Tangerine with aftermarket, adjustable black sport seats with hounds tooth insets.  Original factory equipment includes a 5-speed manual transaxle that has reportedly been rebuilt along with other significant mechanical repairs.

A  correct 911S, 1971 engine style flat-six cylinder, 2195cc engine with 180 horsepower when new, has been rebuilt over the years with receipts showing engine work, transmission work and a host of other repairs during the past 14+ years.  The Porsche is offered with a Porsche COA, service records,, Fuch’s spare mounted to an older Michelin tire and a clean California title in the owner’s name.

The body was refinished in its “Tangerine” during a refurbishment carried out in 2013-2014 by Exotic Autobody, Vacaville, CA.  The receipt shows considerable removal/replacement of body panels to provide a base for a high quality re-spray. The black, removable roof panel can be seen in the photographs along with close-ups in the photo gallery below show the finish, trim, and lenses.

Fuchs 15” wheels wear and are mounted with 195/65 15”. Kuhmo tires carrying date codes of the 35th week of 2014.  A spare wearing a non-matching older Michelin tire is housed in the front compartment. The car has desirable front & rear bumperettes and horizontal bumper bars. A left side mirror is mounted with “Made in Germany” markings.  Front clear fog lights are mounted and the passenger side fog light shows cracks that can be seen in the detailed photographs.

Aftermarket hounds tooth sport seats are trimmed in black leatherette, and charcoal carpeting lines the cabin floors and front trunk compartment. Additional interior features include an optional auxiliary fresh-air blower and a Blaupunkt AM/FM/SW radio. Also fitted is the optional rear windshield wiper.

An aftermarket, leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation, including a central 7,250-rpm tachometer and 250-kph speedometer. An upgraded, optional Blaupunkt AM/FMSW radio resides in the stock dash opening.  The five-digit odometer shows <47K kilometers and is functional although the mileage must be noted as TMU due to the age of the Porsche.

Case stamping *6311128* is shown in the photos and is correct for a 1971 Porsche 911S but does not match the COA.

Videos below feature a walk around with a start-up, as well as a ride along and a tour of the interior.
